Breast Augmentation: What Should I Expect?I am 24 years old and have been considering getnitg breast implants for years now, but I have never had surgery before so I am terrified. I'm also concerned about breast feeding (no children yet) scars, and nipple enlargement. Can somebody please give me some incite on this (please, only people who have had the surgery before or know of someone that's had it no need to tell me you're against it or that it's dangerous, etc. I've done my research enough to know that critical information)? What type of incision can they make? What should a GREAT augmentation cost? I'm currently a 34B and am wanting more fuller breasts, probably somewhere around a full C or a small D. breast implants do NOT cause beasrt cancer that is untrue and a very bitter unpleasant answer from Winters Child!!i have small implants and i had a reduction uplift. i am extremely happy with the results and the surgery was well worth the money which i funded privately at a cost of a35,000. my incision is underneath the beasrt itself so that no scars are visable. recovery time was around 6 weeks of taking things easy and for the first couple of weeks i had to take things very easy so i booked the time off of work. i went to cup size 36C but i was a 36DD before and because i am slim i hated the attention my beasrts got .so i opted for the surgery.i went to the Belvedere Private Hospital in Abbey Wood, London my surgeon was Mr. Khan who has since left and set up his own cosmetic company. my own daughter had beasrt implants when she was 18yrs old and she too is happy with the results. i was so happy with my own surgery that i was happy to let my daughter go ahead with the proceedure. good luck and ignore any ignorant answers that know nothing of this surgery and are just spouting off opinions!

I understand that cost is imnrtoapt, but really think about the end result you are looking for. There are saline vs. silicone; under the muscle over the muscle; armpit, belly-button or below the breast insertion. Here is what I know about. Saline are safe but after about 4 years they may start to show rippling on the side of breast even though the implant is fine. Silicone have just been reapproved for market (safer) and feel and look better. They stay looking better for the duration. The only downfall is that you need an MRI after 5 yrs because you may have what is called a silent rupture (not good). If I was you, I wouldn't want a doctor trying to see down around my armpit as to where he should make the pocket for it to go. So throught the armpit is out. I also dont want my nipple to be cut off and re- sewn on. I want the least amount of muscle that has to be cut through because of all of the arteries and veins in my chest, so through the belly button is out too. That leaves under the breast which is just fine. The dr can see what he is doing and the scar you cant even see. It's really a choice that is more imnrtoapt than how much it costs so good luck in your decision and remember that your health is more imnrtoapt, because without it you and your spouse will not enjoy the fun they will bring you.
